Deluxe Living in the 20s (1/4/20)
It’s a familiar routine in a familiar cabin, with familiar songs and familiar faces, although our attitudes have changed with the calendar. We’re suddenly more thoughtful, more healthful, more organized, with several other qualities consistent with our resolutions. Get used to it; this is life in the 20s!

2020 in View (12/28/19)
This is Radio Deluxe's final episode of the decade. The program aired every week of the 2010's, making this our first full calendar decade on the air! The illustration shows how John & Jessica (portrayed by Hollywood actors) will look welcoming in the new year New Year's Eve. They and the others on the Radio Deluxe team have a vision of 2020 that we wish for you: a happy, healthy, and deluxe new year!

Christmas 2019 (12/21/19)
We were thinking of calling this episode “A Visit from St. Nicholas,” but that title was already taken. Although, as in the poem by Clement Moore, a jolly fellow makes a surprise visit to the living room. But that’s where the similiarity ends. This Nicholas obviously spends a lot of time in New York and his musical tastes lean toward Steve Winwood. He’s the highlight of the show; and this show may end up being the highlight of your holiday season. It offers fun, facts, music, and eggnog!

Trimming the Tree 2019 (12/14/19)
The Radio Deluxe program first went on the air December 3, 2005. That means this year is the 15th holiday season that John & Jessica have been celebrating with their listeners. The radio show, like families, has developed its own holiday traditions. A favorite is the annual tree-trimming show, where John & Jess, taking turns, unwrap an ornament from a piece of old newspaper, describe it, maybe tell a story about it – and sometimes read a news item in the paper from years past – and then hang it on the tree.Well, that special time is now.And the tree is going to look beautiful by the end of the show – just you wait and see. And thank you for your support https://www.radiodeluxe.com/

December Snow Fun (12/7/19)
There’s nothing like a snowfall to get you in the holiday spirit. Add some holiday music, maybe a wreath and some eggnog and you’ll find yourself well into the season to be jolly. Even though the official tree timing happens next weekend for John & Jessica, the party has already begun in the deluxe living room. And you’re invited to join them.

Thanksgiving Weekend (11/30/19)
It's a four-day holiday weekend for many - maybe even most - Americans, but in reality it's a one-day holiday and a weekend with a regular workday in between. But not for the people who work at places that never close , like hospitals, convenience stores, theme parks, and police, fire and radio stations. Those those folks, there are no weekends at all. Thanks to them for working to make your Thanksgiving weekend safe, convenient, and entertaining. And musical.

Just Before Thanksgiving (11/23/19)
John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey are preparing for Thanksgiving, which is just a few days away. Their checklist of necessary chores inludes grocery shopping, deluxe apartment cleaning, and listening to their record collection. Like it or not, the start of the holiday season is upon us and the Pizzarellis have decided not to resist it, but rather to be merry and make the most of this special time of year.

Moving on Now (11/16/19)
John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey have completed their annual two-week residence at the Café Carlyle and are moving on now. They are back on the road that winds into the holiday season via Pennnsylvania, Wisconsin, upstate New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Jersey. It’s a busy time of year for all of us, but it’s even busier for the people providing the music so that the rest of us can celebrate.

The Middle of the Run (11/8/19)
John & Jessica are midway through their annual run at the Café Carlyle at the landmark Carlyle Hotel on New York’s Upper East Side. In the room where Bobby Short reigned for 35 years, John and Jess present a show this year entitled “Steve and Hal,” which honors the upcoming 90th birthday of Stephen Sondheim and the accomplishments his longtime collaborator, Broadway producer Harold Prince, who died this past summer. You’ll hear more about their Carlyle run and other adventures on upcoming Radio Deluxe episodes. We very much appreciate your support for the show at www.radiodeluxe.com/contribute

Now, November (11/2/19)
The month of November is a significant time in the Pizzarelli year. It begins with John & Jessica’s annual run at the Café Carlyle and concludes with a family gathering, the big feast, and John’s favorite food songs. Today, the deluxe couple are enjoying one more weekend at the Deluxe Cabin, playing favorite records and strumming on the couch, before getting back to the urban routine of nightclubs and holidays. And now, November.
